Piling

What is Piling?

Piling stands as a fundamental element in today’s construction industry. It is a stabilisation process where piles are used to stabilise a structure.

Piling is basically driving or boring foundation piles into the ground under a building that’s under construction. These piles help to shift the weight of the building to the ground, giving it the support it needs. They’re usually used when the ground isn’t strong enough to hold up the building on its own.

Here at JWB Engineering, we specialise in many piling techniques and solutions. Please get in touch so we can talk you through the possibilities for your piling project.

Types of Piling

JWB specialise in a variety of piling techniques, including piling, mini piling, Grundomat piling, helical piles, underpinning, Ischebeck Bars and drop hammer piling.
