Soil Nailing
JWB recently completed a large piling project for Amgen, Dublin. Ischebeck piles were utilised in order to achieve long-term stability.
SOIL NAILING
JWB Engineering completed a large soil nailing / piling project for Christian Brother’s College, Cork, in August 2023. The project was designed by DL Consultant Engineers, Ballincollig.
Mini Piling / Ischebeck bars
JWB Engineering offered a stability solution for a private residence in Bishopstown, Cork. Subsidence issues were rectified using mini piling / ischebeck bars.
HELICAL PILES
JWB utilised helical piles for a project in Wapping Street, Dublin in early 2024. A helical pile is an end-bearing deep foundation system with compression and tension applications
ROCK ARMOURING
JWB Solution – JWB undertook a rock armouring job for Cumnor Construction and Waterloo Residents Association in Cork.
SOIL NAILING
Soil nailing project in Galway for a wall that required stabilisation.
CHRISTIAN BROTHERS COLLEGE
JWB developed a new stand and numerous footpaths around the pitches at Christian Brothers College, Cork.

Ischebeck piling
JWB Subsidence Solution – Ischebeck piling project in Kildare with R.T. McCarthy Building Consultants Ltd. for a house that had subsidence issues
Bottom driven piling
JWB Subsidence Solution – Bottom driven piling project in Carrigaline, Co. Cork.
Traditional underpinning
JWB Subsidence Solution – Traditional underpinning / Ischebeck piling in Mount Coote Stud, Co. Limerick. Completed by JWB Engineering to fix a subsidence issue.
Traditional underpinning
Traditional underpinning in Ahakista, Bantry, Cork to correct a subsidence issue. The house extension had subsided and JWB stabilised the extension using traditional underpinning.
PAIRC UÍ CHAOIMH
The completion of footpath works for drainage and ducts around the redeveloped Pairc Uí Chaoimh stadium. JWB completed these works for the Cork County Board.
PRESSURE GROUTING
Pressure grouting project completed for KQH, certified by Harrington-O’Flynn Consultant Engineers.
MCCL
Grundomat piling for extension and traditional underpinning and pouring raft.
MALLOW HOSPITAL
JWB worked on this deep drainage project in Mallow General Hospital, Cork for Engage Construction.
ONE-OFF HOUSING
This one-off housing project was completed by JWB for various clients.
CONCRETE YARD
JWB completed this 10,000 square metre concrete yard for Southern Milling.
Ground Investigation at Cork Airport
In collaboration with Scantech, JWB conducted a ground investigation at Cork Airport for the DAA. We delivered precise soil analysis and foundation solutions for a new building. Our expertise ensured stability and safety throughout the project.
